Founded in 2015 by Joel Tammet, our current owner and CEO, STRIXMARINE stands at the forefront of integrating aeronautical innovation into marine technology. Our company’s inception was driven by a vision to harness over two decades of aeronautical and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) expertise, combined with significant experience in Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. SST-N

Strixmarine offers a two-axis active gyrostabilized long-range searchlight SST-N with unparalleled precision and reliability. Designed and developed for the harshest conditions, this searchlight boasts a narrow and high-intensity beam that can reach distances of over 2 km. Its exceptional stabilization ensures steady illumination, even on small vessels and rough seas.

  • No gearings, no belts. All mechanics are the direct-drive system. No wearing or mechanical failure is possible, maintenance-free.

  • 100% precise, absolute stabilization even in the worst conditions.
